My Story

Hello and welcome.

I’m David.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit DAVID JAMES SKIN LAB .

Here’s a little bit about my journey so far…

Having spent the last 10 years working in the travel industry, being fortunate to explore the world in style and create unforgettable memories – I knew deep down there was something else out there for me…

For as long as I can remember, I have always had an absolute passion for anything relating to the skin and all that skin care has to offer! I find the skin the most fascinating thing and also how we can improve the quality from an aesthetics side of things. I’m totally invested in the skin care world – I’ve tried almost every different treatment under the sun and I’ve built up my own skin care routine, through research and experimentation.

Sitting with my friend one day, after giving her a 6 step facial, I honestly had a ‘lightbulb moment’ and thought – “I can totally do this as a career, this is what makes me buzz, this is what I want to do!”. From there, I started my training and qualified (see qualifications tab) I welcomed the idea and opportunity to set up my own, science driven skin aesthetics business.  It’s the best thing I have ever done.

I have a deep love, not only for skin care treatments, but for people too. I love meeting new people and creating solid relationships, both professionally and personally. Doing the best by my client is absolute paramount to me. I get a total buzz out of what I do, whilst also making people feel great about themselves and achieving their desired skin goals. I believe the most important thing for a successful relationship between myself and all of my clients is trust, communication and expectations.
